Snorkeling at Isla Blanca

I got up this morning and sat on the deck enjoying the moment of now. I'm so lucky to be able to travel and see places like this. They have caves on the other side of the island and I was going to go explore them, however I was told the sea was too rough to reach them. I thought they must have a bunch of hiking trails to explore the island, however I was told they do not. With my luck running out I went and got what passes for breakfast before commandeering a boat to Isla Blanca, which Google tells me means "white sand".

We anchored off shore and checked out the island, yup that's sand, and yup it's white.

I got out my GoPro for a few test shots before heading in to the water to snorkel. As a bonus it looks like everything was included this time.

The waters were very clear.

I then found this guy who was very territorial. He would swim up right to your face and turn away at the last minute, then nip you on the leg.

Lots of fish and coral, I have know idea what they are, but they are pretty.

Dang, this guy is back again.

We returned to Apulit Island and I showered thinking I would go relax on the beach. I first stopped at the bar to find a familiar site. A handful of people with no one to serve them. It was getting to the point were I was ready to just help myself. Around ten minutes later someone showed up and we were clearly an inconvenience for him.

They did seem to comb their beach each morning, however when they encountered something like a rock or driftwood they just seemed to push it aside instead of picking it up to clear the beach.

But when you have beauty like this you tend to over look those little things.

I then had what passes for dinner before ending this day much how it started, sitting on my deck enjoying the moment of now.
